MADRIX ORION
MADRIX ORION adds a powerful layer of interactivity to your lighting installation. Designed and manufactured in Germany, this flexible input device converts analog signals into digital control data and enables real-time interaction using sensors, triggers, and more. It is ideal for installations that require sensor-based lighting control, responsive environments, or remote triggering.
Advanced Analog-to-Digital Conversion
Easily convert analog signals from 0 to 12 volts into 8-bit or 16-bit digital DMX values. Each of the 8 input channels can be individually mapped to up to 8 or 16 DMX channels, giving you full control over signal routing and behavior.
Flexible Communication Options
MADRIX ORION sends output via Art-Net or Streaming ACN (E1.31) to any compatible controller or software. It also connects directly to MADRIX 5 over USB for seamless integration.
8 Configurable Inputs
Connect a wide variety of sensors and external devices including motion sensors, light sensors, temperature sensors, potentiometers, and switches. This opens up endless possibilities for creating interactive lighting effects that respond to the environment or user input.
Multiple Input Modes
Each input can be set to different modes including Analog-IN, Digital-IN, Counter, and more, allowing you to tailor the response to your specific application.
Direct Power and Signal Connection
The device includes two 6-pin ports with individual signal lines, plus ground and power. Power can be supplied via a 2-pin screw terminal with a wide voltage range from 5 to 24 volts.
Daisy-Chain Networking
Two Ethernet ports make it easy to daisy-chain multiple devices or set up separate network paths, simplifying cabling in large installations.
Flexible Mounting
The robust, non-conductive housing is designed for DIN rail installations but also includes brackets for optional wall mounting. Nine LED indicators show real-time status and can be disabled when needed.
Smart Features for Professionals
MADRIX ORION starts up in seconds and can be configured easily using the built-in web interface. The firmware is upgradeable, ensuring long-term flexibility and support for future features.
